ZASA President, Mr. Simaanya, thanked the Zambians living in Mafikeng for their unity in diversity, teamwork and care they exhibit towards one another in South Africa.
ZASA President Mr Ferdinand Simaanya highlighted the need of youths projects to mitigate unplanned pregnancies, high HIV infections and alcohol abuse. He emphasized the need of promoting Zambian businesses like saloons, tailoring shops, Zambian market day shopping of foods and clothing.
We have amongst us youths who are plumbers, electricians, tilers, builders, web designers, painters accountants etc who can provide a service at fee that can sustain them. This itself is empowerment.
ZASA Mafikeng Chairperson Mr Moses Mwewa took the High Commissioner and the ZASA President through a Chicken ran project which is been a great success to the Mafikeng community as a whole.
Thank you very much Mafikeng for always organizing excellent functions. Nice Zambians foods, well thought drama performances and dance.
