Voice-over artist, musician, public speaker, podcaster for Key Africans Unlocked, Radio Summit founder… Could a list go on even more for one human being?! And where does he find the time to sleep?!
This was one of those interviews I thoroughly enjoyed. Inspiring and so much fun and laughs!

Chilu describes himself as a passionate guy, particularly about the media and believes that passion is the greatest motivator for anything anyone ever does in life. Nearing his mid-40s, he describes his life as having happened in two stanzas, the Zambian stanza and the South African stanza. Chilu started his career in Zambia at Radio Phoenix and was there from 1996 – 1999 on Radio Phoenix. Prior to that he created music which was widely played on radio. He started working at Radio Phoenix as a DJ at age 19, and was hereafter promoted as station manager at 22 years old. He then decided to move to South Africa when he was 23 to pursue his studies at the AAA school of advertising, and initially to try to break into the South African media industry as a voice-over artist and radio presenter. He has since expanded his reach into so much more than this as is evident from his life’s work. From a personality perspective, Chilu describes himself as a regular dude.
