ZASA President Commits to Strengthening Branch Structures Countrywide

We will support, encourage and strengthen our branch structures countrywide – ZASA President – Mr Ferdinand Simaanya.

In a statement issued to the ZASA Magazine, ZASA President Mr Ferdinand Simaanya has re-affirmed the need to visit, encourage, motivate, share information, and strengthen ZASA structures countrywide.

This exercise will kick start this weekend when the ZASA National Executive Committee will visit the ZASA North Branch to usher in a new branch executive that will be elected into office on Saturday 21st July 2018 starting from 13 hours.

“We have noted that some ZASA members do not understand why ZASA was formed, its mandate, ZASA’s finance policy, Zambia welfare fund, ZASA constitution and above all the vision of the Association,” said the ZASA President. The ZASA President further said that as leaders, it is our civic duty to explain all these matters to the general populous so that the vision we carry is understood through out the structures of the association.

The Zambia Association in South Africa is a registered legal entity in the republic of South Africa that looks upon the welfare of all Zambians living in South Africa; also recognised by the Zambian government under the watch of our Patron His Excellency, the Zambia High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa, Mr Emmanuel Mwamba.
