Forging Smart Partnerships to Serve More Zambians

When we launched ZASA Magazine, our aim was to connect with Zambians around the world and create a space where you could interact and celebrate Zambian excellence. In our quest to enhance the experience for you, we actively seek out partnerships that serve you in practical ways – a trait we are proud to say we have in common with Mukuru. In a similar way, they have partnered with Zoona, one of Zambia’s most popular money transfer companies to build one of the widest networks for sending and receiving money internationally for Zambians.

As they put it themselves, their vision isto be a remittances company empowering, typically, financially excluded migrants to move money in a convenient, safe and affordable manner, so that they can fulfil their desire to improve their own and their families’ lives.”

When you speak to anyone that works for Mukuru, you get the sense they all buy into this vision, now that we can respect. Something they understand is that every one of their customers has a story. Whether you are sending money for school fees, hospital bills, rent or groceries, Mukuru is passionate about making that story end well. This is the driving force behind Mukuru seeking out partnerships like the one they have built with Zoona – it gives you a wide-reaching platform that’s easy to use and places it at your fingertips – literally.
