When interviewing Felix, you get the sense that he is passionate about whatever he does and he comes across as a person that would never do something they don’t believe in. I wish we could have recorded the interview so you can see this for yourself but take my word for it – it’s pretty evident. Ask for him the next time you call into the Mukuru call centre and you’ll see what I mean, his energy is infectious.
We’ve been wanting to do something more personal with Mukuru for some time now so when the opportunity finally presented itself, we jumped at it and managed to put something together.
Felix is a part of the ZASA community in Cape Town and gives us some insight into who he is and why he seems to have made it his mission to help other Zambians save on money transfers. He’s a Lusaka boy through and through and jokes saying “I know Zambians, they doubt everything… It’s fast, on time, not like when you use other services waiting for 3 days kwati ndalama ichoka ku China…”
