On behalf of the Zambia Association in South Africa (ZASA), I would like to send our heartfelt sympathies and condolences over the death of Mama Winnie Madikizela Mandela.

It is with great sadness and grief, that we have learnt about the passing of a fearless, African woman, an anti oppression symbol, gallant freedom fighter, struggle icon and beacon for peace, freedom and reconciliation, who lived a life that has inspired millions of people across the globe and many generations to come.

The legacy that Mama Winnie leaves behind, will forever live in our history books as the Mother of the Nation, South Africa.

We mourn with South Africans and we pray to our almighty God to please heal this land in pain and sorrow.

May Her Soul Rest in Eternal Peace
