Happy New Year Fam,
As 2018 kicks off, we need to be coming out the blocks firing on all cylinders… This edition has been set up to do just that. Our aim for this year is to give you a digest every month that carries a wealth of tools and knowledge you can take back into your daily lives – well blended with a whole bunch of leisurely stuff of course, we trust you’ll enjoy it!
You may have noticed some changes to the website so here’s the deal… We have shifted some menu items for a more logical flow and also, with the huge interest in Bitcoin and the like, we have decided to add a Financial Market News section that includes a Crypto Desk. These are updated throughout the week so check it regularly if that’s your kind of thing.

Issue 28 (January 2018 Edition) is here!
We head back to the Zambezi and profile a destination in a land of adventure near Victoria Falls; those lucky few going on leave now can take full advantage. The Chovwano Girls Project, those sanitary pads are not going to get themselves to the disadvantaged girls in Zambia, let’s pool our resources. Kennedy Mweene talks future plans and we get a sense of what drives him, Victoria interviews Kakungu Kowa, a career woman who dived into entrepreneurship and is loving the balancing act… Plus it being a hair business must be a sweet bonus. Steven piles the pressure on the rest of us with maybe one of his best pieces yet arguing how the recent Cholera outbreak is more than anything a result of cadrerism, corruption and a failing system – I see you raising an eyebrow but read it first, he backs it up with facts and figures. We also profile singer and songwriter Namvula with her blend of folk, jazz and urban traditional Zambian music – you want to hear this!
It’s a lot to summarise but there’s much more so pour something nice to sip on, sit back and enjoy the mag 🙂
