Avoid your Zambian Bank Acc being frozen – TPIN Registration (ZRA)

The Zambian Revenue Authority (ZRA) has now made it mandatory for ALL Bank Account holders to obtain a Tax Payer’s Identification Number (TPIN). This TPIN once issued out by ZRA, should be submitted to your respective Bank to avoid your Account being frozen. You may either register for a TPIN by physically going to ZRA and queuing up and filling out forms or do a quick and fast online registration!

In February 2017, ZRA provided reasons for the mandatory requirement for financial institutions registered under the Banking and Financial Services Act to require all bank account holders to obtain Taxpayer Identification Number (TPIN) issued by ZRA.

You can register online here.
