Plea for Foreign Nationals to take precautions | ZASA President

To all Zambians living in South Africa and all Zambians visiting South Africa.
As you are all aware of the protests against foreign nationals, looting of foreign shops and burning of houses and businesses; please ensure safety.

Avoid areas that are dodgy and all places that do illegal activities. In the next month, please concentrate on going to work and back home. Do your shopping at secure malls and shops. Avoid going to drinking places in remote and congested areas; especially townships.

Carry your documents for easy identification.

We need constant communication on ZASA chats on confirmed alerts, please don’t post rumours and pictures of the past.

Let us be aware of what’s happening around you and areas. Be careful.
Ferdinand Simaanya
ZASA President.
